
Hello, my name is Curtis Armstrong, and I show up. As straightforward of a statement as it is, showing up for yourself is the first step in taking control and accountability for your health and life in many ways. Showing up for another person to me means setting a time to help them find that foundation they are seeking. We are not trying to be perfect, but taking the time to show up for ourselves is the first step in connecting with ourselves and pushing to be ready for anything that comes your way.

My Story
When I took my first Kinesiology course, I had no idea what I would be in store for, having a background in various sports and a curiosity about the physiology of the human body. I had found the perfect blend of science, showing how the body would progress and adapt when stressed in training and creating a desired result. What was not taught is the intrinsic components; a movie coaching line would be "someone who is made of the right stuff." This statement to me means a person, regardless of who they are or where they are in life, is mentally ready to realize what they are capabilities are. We are all made of the right stuff, but often we need the right person to spark change from within.
Why Training with Me is Different
Being a mobile trainer allows me to bring the training session to the client! Often for people, one of the primary deterring factors from training is the reluctance to go to the gym. We constantly look for why we cannot or create barriers to prevent change. Being a mobile trainer allows me to remove those same barriers by helping meet the client in a space in which they feel more comfortable.
Some of my current clients also prefer outdoor sessions because they find it easier to focus outside the gym without distractions. Training outside helps them connect with themselves beyond just the physical work being done.
